A few weeks ago, a group of our Omaha electricians, Joe Perchal, Josh Smulling, Garrett Taub, Chris Estelle, Chris Osborn, Corey Osborn, Brian Osborn, John Hilt and Jason Wilkening, volunteered their time to wire a new home for Habitat for Humanity. This is a very worthy cause and it’s great to see our employees getting involved in the community.
MCL Construction was the general contractor for the project and United Electric donated the lighting fixtures for the home. The home has on the first floor, 3 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, dining and living room and in the finished basement there are 2 bedrooms, bathroom and laundry room. Our electricians volunteered a couple days to rough wire the house, including Cat 5 and telephone jacks in each room, and also to provide the finishing electrical trim the home. From start of construction to finish, the home was built in 2 weeks.
This is why we have the best electricians working for Thompson Electric, by going above and beyond for a worthy cause. Great job guys.
