It’s a crazy way to raise money

OverEdge

Thompson Electric’s very own, Nick Rol was one of dozens of people to rappel down the side of the Howard Johnson hotel in downtown Sioux City.  Why would he do such a stunt?  It was all for a good cause.  He did it to raise money for “Big Brothers – Big Sisters of Siouxland.”

To participate, you had to personally raise $1000 to reserve a spot and Nick raised $1400.

For the Big Brothers – Big Sisters of Siouxland, this was their first year putting this on this event and didn’t really know what to expect.  They had over 70 people rappelling which means they raised over $70,000 and brought awareness to the Big Brothers – Big Sisters of Siouxland.

Thank you Nick for stepping up to the challenge and raising money for a good cause.
