Earlier this year, Thompson Electric of Omaha helped sponsor and participated in the 15th Annual Vetter Foundation Golf Classic at Iron Horse Golf Course in Ashland, NE. Thompson Electric has participated in the Vetter Golf Foundation Classic the past 6 years. The golf pro’s for Thompson Electric were Kevin (Tiger) Lytle, Todd (Rory) Becker and Jeff (Bubba) Stack. Also golfing with Team Thompson was Steve Hanson and Katie Mantz from Vetter Health Services, who we work with closely, and Mike Johnson and Steve Wimer from CED, a material supplier for Thompson Electric and Vetter.
The Vetter Foundation was founded in 1992 by Jack and Eldora Vetter, to support the various needs of Christian organizations serving the less fortunate, and to impact and improve the quality of education in health care. Through the years the Vetter Foundation has supported over 21 different charities and the Golf Classic is a major fund raiser for them.
Thompson Electric’s participation in the Golf Classic does many things, it helps support good causes in the local community and abroad, builds stronger relationships with the Vetter team and helps strengthen the partnership with Vetter.
Thompson Electric in Omaha works with Vetter’s team on their new facilities and provides service work for most of their facilities in Nebraska, Iowa and Kansas. We are just starting to work on a large addition and renovation in North Platte, NE and a new facility in Broken Bow, NE.
There are many ways that strengthen our relationship with Vetter Health Service, and supporting their Golf Classic is one of the ways that Thompson Electric helps to support Vetter Health Services in addition to the excellence service and workmanship that we provide on a daily basis.
