9 Volt Battery Safety

9 volt battery and safety are two words that you normally would not associate with each other, but think again.  With the start of daylight saving time, it is a reminder to change the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.  Both of these items are powered by a 9 volt battery which can be a safety hazard if not stored properly.

The 2015 Women of Excellence Award nominees have been announced and we are proud to have two nominees associated with Thompson Electric.  Renee Beaulieu, CFO of TEC Corp and Hana Krommenhoek, a senior at North High and daughter of Brad Krommenhoek, estimator for Thompson Electric have been nominated.  A ceremony to recognize the nominees will be March 24 at the Sioux City Convention Center.  Congratulations to both Renee and Hana for being nominated for the annual Women of Excellence Award.
